Blue Economy Expo Highlights Marine Tech and Shipbuilding in Dhaka

A three-day exhibition focused on Bangladesh’s blue economy sector, covering shipbuilding, ship recycling, offshore oil and gas support, shipping logistics, port operations, fishing vessels, and automation technology, has commenced at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). The event was inaugurated by Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr. M. Sakhawat Hossain, Advisor to the Ministries of Shipping and Textiles.

Organized by Sevr International Limited, the expo features various stalls showcasing advancements in maritime technology. Energypac Power Generation PLC, an ISO-certified organization, is presenting products from renowned Chinese brand 'YC Diesel' at stalls 23 and 24, where visitors can interact with industry experts for insights on the latest technologies.

According to Mohammad Masum Parvez, Chief Business Officer (Marine Engineer) of Energypac, “BIMEX is the largest maritime expo in the country, offering a valuable opportunity to exhibit products related to ship and shipping logistics.
